Sterling Engineering Group of Companies is proud to announce the hiring of Mr. Steven R. Bowman, P.E. as Vice President of Business Development for the Midwest Region.
Mr. Bowman has over 20 years of experience as a Civil Engineer, and Project Manager. He has utilized his unique talents to drastically reduced construction budgets, and increase company revenue, while pushing the envelope of structural design developing innovative cost-savings ideas on optimizing construction techniques as well as functional design team organization. He comes to us from Drury Development Corporation where he helped successfully manage contract negotiations, budgets, scheduling and supervision of construction staff for 70 projects worth over an estimated 1 billion dollars.

SEGOC Welcomes Mr. Slaven Seferovic, P.E. - Structural Engineer to our Houston office
The Sterling Engineering Group of Companies is pleased to announce the addition of Mr. Slaven Seferovic, P.E. as a Senior Structural Engineer. Mr. Seferovic brings over 18 years of structural engineering, design, project management, value engineering, and structural system selection experience to SEGOC. After receiving his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Mostar Dzemal Bijedic in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1991, Mr. Seferovic has had an active involvement from concept to completion in a wide variety of projects including high-rise projects, apartments, parking structures, office buildings and churches.

Hines Recognized with 2012 ENERGY STAR® Sustained Excellence Award
The international real estate firm, Hines has received a 2012 ENERGY STAR® Sustained Excellence Award from the United States Environmental Protection Agency. This is the eighth that the firm has been recognized by the EPA and the fifth time Hines has received the Sustained Excellence Award for their commitment and continued dedication to protecting the environment through energy efficient practices and design. We, at the Sterling Engineering Group of Companies, primarily under the guise of CBM Engineers, have had the enormous pleasure of working with Hines, over the past 30 years on 28 uniquely different projects throughout the United States, and whole heartedly congratulate them on this distinct honor.
